…questioning is science’s job.
There are apparently no questions too small or offbeat for scientists to investigate.
In my third Listverse article I talk about some scientific studies that researched some pretty random stuff. Read ’em and weep (I always wanted to say that):
“10 Scientific Studies That Answered Bizarrely Specific Questions“
Will People Swim Faster In Water Than In Syrup? Now that one really surprised me. Great work man.
And also a lot of hard work it seems. I don’t think Listverse is for me!

Thanks dude, glad you liked it.
LV isn’t that scary, you just have to be willing to do the research and writing. I can assure you that Cracked, in many ways, requires even more legwork and back-and-forth.

It’s amazing what some researchers do with their time. Particularly enjoyed the chicken and the beautiful faces experiment.

Yeah I wish I had their jobs. Must be fun to feed horses and watch jumping fleas!

Loved it! Impressive amount of research on your part and funny too.
I’m gonna stop trying to walk on water and from now on when I look in the mirror- I’m leaning left.

I will NEVER stop trying to walk on water. That’s for quitters. Maybe I should start by dragging a sheep across water first.
And thanks!

Wow, your research was impressive on this one. Well done! (Of course, it always is.) But I have to wonder, would research dollars be better spent elsewhere than determining whether chickens prefer the Angelina Jolies to the Donald Trumps of the world? Then again, chickens might find the results fascinating…

Either way, I’m sure they at least enjoyed pecking at people’s stupid, human faces for a change.
And thanks. All Listverse (and Cracked) articles require quite a bit of research, but this one was definitely more fun than some.

A few more of these, and you’ll be able to kick everybody’s butt on Jeopardy! (Do they have that show in Denmark?)

Not “Jeopardy” per se, but probably its Danish equivalent. Something like Jøpærdeå?
